“Bring Your Own Kayak” Paddling Event

My first time in a kayak at Cherry Creek Reservoir near Downtown Denver, Colorado
My first time in a kayak at Cherry Creek Reservoir near Downtown Denver, Colorado

Almost 2.5 years ago I sat in a kayak for the first time in Denver, Colorado at my first Outdoor Nation Summit. Today, it’s my favorite outdoor activity because it’s so peaceful and you can still get a good workout.

I love sitting on the water, bobbing gently as I watch the world pass by.

If you are into paddling, there’s a great event happening at Ray Roberts Lake State Park – Johnson Branch Unit this March 11 from 11:30am – 1:30pm.

For more details, visit the Facebook Event Page here: https://www.facebook.com/events/634272746644476/

What’s your favorite activity that gets you outside?

I’ve never been kayaking, but it’s on my bucket list! I do enjoy camping though.

Love the outdoor water sports. We’re a bunch of water babies around here! And I’ve always loved that the Texas state park system offers so many great family adventure opportunities.

Have you all ever been kayaking? The state parks do have many activities, for all different types of folks. Thanks for stopping by.
