Tent Revival: Texas Outdoor Family Gets Families into the Outdoors

You may have heard or read about me raving about Texas Outdoor Family a few times on the blog and on my Facebook page, but I can’t say enough good things about this program. A new video that they shared is extra special to me because one of my best friends since college and her family got to be the stars of the show! Karenia and her family had faith in me and allowed me to take them camping with North Texas Kids Outside and Texas Outdoor Family for the first time in December 2012.

Then, they got another great opportunity and attended a workshop at Blanco State Park with Ranger Tuna (Ryan). This trip was very special for the Holloway family, too. Karenia left for the Peace Corps just days after they attended the camping workshop. She’s now living like an island girl in Micronesia. What a great way to get outdoors and experience time with family! I miss you Ren and can’t wait till you get home.
Please enjoy the video and consider signing up for a Texas Outdoor Family workshop.

Their 2014 schedule is posted!
